We Love Food!!! GAMES GAMES GAMES!Mini-Ventures

Millennial Pen in Hand

Food, fun, and adventure, that’s how I want to live my life. Every day a meal worth devouring, every night a game worth losing sleep over, and every weekend a world yet to be explored.

Let’s live through all of these, together!

This homepage will act as a guide for what to expect and what’s to come on Millennial Pen in Hand.

We Love Food!!!

And hopefully you do too! Cause if you do, then you my friend, are in the right place. From slow-cooker creations to baking bonanzas, we plan on doing it all.

What do you get when you mash together a culinary student and an artistic gourmet, you say, well let me tell you. Sautéing, baking, roasting, toasting, grilling, and killing it on the pizza oven. Experimenting with what we have on hand to make a meal you’ll plan a cheat day for is our specialty. With food being such a big part of life in general we figured it may be time to start sharing something that brings such joy to us with you.

Food will likely be the main subject of discussions as more and more posts are made but we promise this is not all we will talk about. We will also have…

GAMES GAMES GAMES!

That’s right! This page has a gamer, what are you gunna do about it, huh? (Fight me!)

All the way from PS1 through 5 we have each and every single one, and with a bit of curiosity, a full fledge PC. Though we can talk specs at some point, for now, we will likely be trying out oddball games here and there. A periodic review & playthrough recorded by yours truly will be our aim.

Together we can discuss how games work, the best ways to play them, and occasionally, we may even revisit a childhood memory or two. Since video games have always been there through thick and thin, it only feels right. While video games still scratch the odd itch, board games with friends has become something of a regular occurrence around these parts. Villainous, The Binding of Isaac, Munchkin, these have become something held near and dear to our hearts

We will leave you with this before our final topic, very recently an intense interest in D&D has developed. However, working full-time having friends who also work full-time, makes for a difficult campaign to get running.

Mini-ventures Close to Home

As much of a home-body as we may appear to be, there’s really no feeling like getting out in the world and experiencing what life has to offer. There is a world of adventures waiting to be discovered! And we firmly believe that with the ability to write about something, thoroughly, it becomes an obligation to tell a story; your story. Which is what we plan on doing one mini-venture at a time.

Most of these posts will consist of day/weekend trips, with restaurants reviews, and a couple “hot spots” that you just won’t want to miss. When describing these places our goal is to give readers a look through the glass, inherently a nuts to bolts rundown of what went down. The food, the fun, need-to-know travel info, anything that comes to mind.

Hopefully as the community grows, so will the engagement and in turn, the feedback. That’s right, being so new to this we will be relying on our wonderful readers to click comment, and share their experience here. Share your recipes, your escapades, the games you play and the good times they’ve given you. If what we share is something completely new to you, we hope that you enjoy it to its fullest. If what you share is bran-dandy new to us, even better! That’s when it’s our turn to go out and try this new experience, live through it wholly and come back to tell YOU how much fun it was.

We’re looking forward to what comes next, and we hope that you are too. We’ll see you then!
